A Break in Normal Service

Normal Service should be resumed tomorrow, due to all the illness and such that has befallen my family and me.

In the meantime, let me fill you in on something quite special, well 2 things actually. 'citing!

First off, a new feature brought to you by that genius, Ravi. Freebie Fridays!

During the course of every week, all members of the team, that can be arsed, will be attempting to blag as many free things as possible using the fact we write this blog as a reason. At the end of the month the freebies will be doled out to deserving winners of whatever random competition we come up with that month. lovely eh?

It gets better, to start things off and to coincide with the launch of the Official Hardcore Traitor's Board, all freebies won between now and the end of Euro 2008 will be doled out to the team member who takes to his support of his adopted team with the most vigour [Ravi loves that word.. apparantly].

The winner will NOT be the one whose team lifts the trophy, but will rather be picked by a vote at the end of the competition. Points should be awarded for adoption of that country's culture [with photos please gentlemen], the wearing of team shirts/colours as often as possible, the active and enthusiastic promotion of his team and their culture and general enthusiasm.

Also the recruitment of others to their cause, again photos please.

Each entrant must also provide a weekly update with said photos, to show what they have been upto. If your team is knocked out, you can still earn points by eating their food, adopting their culture and generally encouraging people to visit your teams country, extra points for a convincing argument [no matter how ludicrous] as to why your team were robbed of victory.

Again bonus points for displayed knowledge of the country [no boring lists or endless quoting from wikipedia please], and your weekly update must include your persuasive argument and incentives to join your cause and cheer your adopted nation to victory.

Let the blagging commence!
